The most widely practiced martial art in the world, as well as an Olympic sport, Taekwondo consists mostly of kicking, striking and blocking techniques. Known for its kicking, speed, and power, Taekwondo is an excellent mixture of self defense, sport, philosophy, and exercise. While Taekwondo competitions tend to highlight those students who are of high talent and athleticism, Taekwondo has benefits for all types of people, no matter what size, age, gender or athletic ability.

What you will learn:  Colored belts will learn basic and advanced Kicking, stricking, blocking, forms (poomse/kata), one-steps (predetermined sparring scenarios), free sparring, tournament style sparring, olympic style sparring, and board breaking.  Black belts will continue to build on what was learned in the colored belt ranks, as well as new forms.  Black belts will also begin their journey through the Masters program to develop the student’s mind body and spirit and turning them into a well rounded martial artist.
